This was our second stay at Lièvre Rouge and it was just as perfect as the first one. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Having access to the lake for kayaking and canoeing was an awesome addition to being in nature and disconnecting. Mathieu and his dog Spark were wonderful hosts who recommended trails, activities, and came by to see if we needed anything. We will visit again!

The Pine Lodge and it’s surroundings were absolutely beautiful! Great spot if you’re looking for some quite relatively disconnected R&R. Mathieu was a wonder host and made sure to check in and ensure all went well during the stay. I would definitely recommend checking this out, and I’ll definitely be returning myself!

Loved our stay at Lièvre Rouge. The owner is very responsive and very welcoming. Instructions were very clear. We had a great time and will definitely come back this summer season.

Our stay was perfect. When we got to the cottage, a fire was already burning in the fireplace, it was cozy and confortable. Mathieu made sure we had everything we needed at all time. The surroundings are beautiful, it’s a great place to disconnect from the city and soak in in the calm nature.

What an incredible spot for a fall weekend getaway to disconnect and enjoy nature with our dog! We enjoyed the use of the hiking trails, the fire pit and the canoe and kayaks. The outdoor shower was amazing after a refreshing dip. The cabin was so cozy with the new wood stove and very clean. Mathieu was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Thank you and we are planning to come back.

Idyllic lakeside setting. Wonderful, rustic, off-grid cabin with great beds, furniture, and kitchen, along with two awesome patios and a dock to enjoy the lake from. Great canoe and kayaks available to paddle and almost completely private lake with lots of beautiful views and wildlife. Would return!
