Job offer – Maintenance attendant
Duration: 7-month contract (April to October), with possibility of extension
Schedule: April to June: Part-time
July and August: Full-time (35 hours/week)
September and October: Part-time
Flexible schedule and competitive salary (based on experience)
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Attendant.
The work takes place primarily outdoors and includes a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation and upkeep of the site.
Responsibilities:
- Tree cutting and pruning, trail maintenance
- Maintenance and repairs of cabins
- Maintenance and repair of equipment
- Site development and infrastructure work
- Tasks related to the sugar bush and sugar shack operations
Profile sought:
- Enjoys working outdoors, regardless of weather conditions
- Comfortable using a chainsaw and carpentry tools
- Experience in construction, renovation, or landscaping (an asset)
- Good physical condition; able to perform physical work and lift heavy loads
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable in a forested and remote environment
- Valid driver’s licence
Additional assets:
Experience in forestry or land management
Basic knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems (12V solar) and propane-powered systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience working in a sugar bush or managing a sugar shack

Job description
Le Refuge du Lièvre Rouge is looking for a Guest Experience Attendant for the summer season (mid-June to late August, with the possibility of extension). As a key member of our team, you will help create a warm, immersive experience for our guests by ensuring high standards of welcome, service, and lodging quality.
Responsibilities
- Guest welcome and service: Welcome guests upon arrival, answer their questions, and ensure they enjoy an unforgettable stay.
- Preparation of accommodations: Clean and prepare the cabins, yurt, and common areas in accordance with our quality standards.
- Experience consistency: Ensure that each accommodation is spotless and aligned with the Lièvre Rouge experience.
- Service at the Sous-Bois Café-Buvette: Prepare coffee, serve guests, clear tables, and help maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Operational support: Perform any related tasks necessary to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Profile sought
- Bilingual (French / English)
- Dynamic, friendly, and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and team spirit
- Comfortable using various computer systems
- Interest in tourism, hospitality, or customer service
- Experience in service, tourism, or a similar role (an asset)
