The Sous-Bois Spa is designed to extend the Lièvre Rouge experience and offer a moment of complete relaxation in nature during the colder seasons.

Enjoy a wood-fired sauna, a cedar hot tub, and a Lièvre Rouge signature cabin — a place to rest between heat sessions, deep in the raw forest of the Upper Laurentians.

Here, the experience is private, quiet, and centred on well-being.
A simple, intimate format, entirely designed for restoring yourself in the forest.

Your private access (1 group at a time) includes:

  1. A wood-fired sauna
  2. A Nordic cedar hot tub
  3. A Lièvre Rouge signature cabin, fully equipped for rest and relaxation.

As well as:

  1. Access to the Lièvre Rouge welcome lodge, where the washrooms are located
  2. Access to Lièvre Rouge’s 275-acre private domain, including hiking trails and lake, access (watercraft rentals available — June to October)
  3. Outdoor fire area (weather permitting)

Rates & inclusions

  • 45$ per person, plus taxes / 2-person minimum (prices may vary by season)
  • Booking for 1 person is possible — a $75 rate applies. Please contact us directly to book
  • Private experience / 1 group at a time
  • Access to the Sous-Bois cabin, which includes: a wood stove for heating, comfortable armchairs for reading or napping, a collection of books and board games, a boreal infusion station, and a truly inviting atmosphere.
  • Access to the modern washroom facilities located in the Lièvre Rouge welcome lodge, as well as bar service available (the cocktails bar is open every Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
  • Access to Lièvre Rouge’s 275-acre private domain, before or after your spa session, including access to hiking trails and snowshoeing, allowing you to enjoy a full day of activities

  • The spa is reserved for guests 16 years and older
  • The thermal experience is not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with chronic health conditions.
  • Free cancellation if made 72 hours or more before your session.
  • For any cancellation or modification within 72 hours, the full amount, including taxes, will be charged.
