Nestled in the heart of Le Refuge du Lièvre Rouge, the Sous-Bois cocktails bar is a space that is both welcoming and soothing, inspired by the surrounding forest. It’s a place where time slows down — where you come to warm up after a snowshoe walk, or simply to enjoy a quiet moment over a coffee, a glass of natural wine, or a forest-inspired cocktail.

Sous-Bois is located directly in the welcome pavilion of Le Refuge du Lièvre Rouge, and is accessible to both overnight guests and regional visitors.

Opening hours

• Friday: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

• Saturday: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

• Sunday: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Hours may vary depending on the season or special events.

The cocktails bar also offers:

• Free Wi-Fi and a quiet workspace in the morning

• Showers and services for guests staying in rustic accommodations

• Direct access to the Refuge’s trails and the Sous-Bois Spa

Sous-Bois is also a place to gather and celebrate.
The space can be privatized for small events:
cocktail gatherings with friends, birthdays, group retreats, tasting evenings, or team activities in the forest.

Each event is thoughtfully designed based on your needs, with the possibility of integrating Refuge experiences — cabin stays, spa access, forest meals, or outdoor activities.
