Staying in a yurt is an unforgettable experience, any time of the year.

Located approximately 600 meters from the guest lodge and parking area, hiking or snowshoeing to the yurt will take most people about 20 minutes.

Once on site, guests will appreciate the very intimate setting. The site includes a very large deck, located on a small cliff’s edge, overlooking a forested valley where a small stream can be heard gently cascading down.

A picnic table, screened in gazebo, and a small fire pit are located on the deck.

Located right off of the Fox Trail (Sentier du Renard), guests will have access to the dock situated on Lac Manseau and will have access to the canoes and kayaks.

Inside the yurt, guests will enjoy getting cozy by the wood stove or use the compact, but well stocked kitchenette to make their meals. The bunk bed includes 1 double sized mattress and 1 single size mattress and the sofa can be made into a bed to fit a 4th person if needed. Battery powered lighting is provided as well as drinking water and fire wood.

There is a pit toilet near the Yurt and guests will have access to the guest lodge where full bathrooms with showers will be available to use (opening July 2024)

Access

Guests should prepare for a 20 to 30 minute hike in to the Yurt on a well maintained trail. In the winter months, snowshoes are required.

We provide a cart in the summer as well as a sled in the winter for luggage but we strongly encourage our guests to pack as light as possible.

($) A luggage shuttle is available for a fee if required.
